Hey Mark, I have found that one of the best ways to distribute open source/CC design focused projects is by creating an instruction set. You can do this on your own site. I, and my peers at Eyebeam, have found that Instructables.com (http://www.instructables.com/member/theredproject/) is a great venue for doing it, as the volume of traffic on the site is really high, and people are really supportive.

I have seen this project referred to as an open source project. Did you use a specific site or online resource to manage the project, documents, designs, suggestions, comments, etc? I'm considering a outdoor sports related open design project and wondering what forum works best. Thanks.

Great idea, guys! I picked-up a smaller roll of Scotchlite tape here:
http://www.identi-tape.com/eng-sr1.html

It's easier to work with when applying it to your wheels instead of cutting it from a large sheet. Cheaper too!
