Patrick Davison and I went to Ethan Benton's studio last week. We talked about bikes, looked at fabric, made plans to do some retroreflective powdercoating tests, and he gave me two little scraps of 3M Scotchlite Removable Graphic Film with Comply. This is the material he is using to make the ELVS co-branded Velocity deep-V's.
I took the little squares and cut them up into littler rectangles, and put them on my bike (washing those spots first.) You can't tell they are there in the light, but in the dark they light up bright. I'm going to try to get more of this material, and wrap the whole bike.
